What size hat should I get?
Please take a look at our size chart (on this page), which is based on standard hat sizing with a little extra room to cover your ears.
Can I wash my Fargo hat?
To wash your Fargo Hat, spot clean or wash by hand with cold water. If you must use a washing machine, use a delicate cycle with cold water. Always air dry at room temperature. Tio Lee cannot accept returns or exchanges for product that has been washed or dry-cleaned.
My hat is shedding. Is this normal?
Yes, this is perfectly normal. Due to the nature of the fleece, some loose fibers may remain stuck to the fabric. The shedding should go away over time, but if you’d like to speed up the process, you can take a damp cloth and lightly rub it over the surface of the fabric. This should pick up the majority of the loose fibers. We do not recommend a paper towel or lint brush for this, but a lint roller also works!
Where are the hats made?
The hats are hand made in Brooklyn. In other words, they are proudly made in the USA, under fair labor conditions.
What does GRS Certified mean?
GRS is an acronym for Global Recycled Standard. The GRS is an international, voluntary, full product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices and chemical restrictions.
Is the fabric made in the USA too?
After looking at countless specialty fabric samples, we chose to work with a mill in China that uses GRS-certified recycled polyester and wool fiber imported from New Zealand, to ensure the highest quality fleece material available. Our goal is to become 100% domestically-produced in the future.
